Combining his interests in the fields of genealogy research and late nineteenth century United States history, author Erik Varon used his love of writing to pen immigrant Jakob Schleicher's life story. Erik, who is a native of Southern California, is married, and is a stay-at-home father of two. In addition to the aforementioned interests, Erik also enjoys watching sports, reading and volunteering his time in his community and church.
